I wanted to give you a few tips on recovery and sleep.
Sleep is so important to our overall health. It’s the time when our bodies adjust, rebalance, clear out toxins, recover muscle damage, and so much more.
Especially in today’s day and age, our motors are always revving. Because of this it’s that much more important that we’re able to cool the brain down at night time and remove the toxins that were created. When we do that we improve the brain function, not only for the next day, but for the rest of your life. When we don’t get enough quality sleep we develop plaques in our brain. Those plaques contribute to Alzheimer’s disease. Sleep is incredibly important, not only for our comfort and recovery, but our brain health.
Sleep is free. You just have to choose to do it, and in the right way.
What can you do to improve sleep?
Here’s 4 simple tips:
- Sleep hygiene
- Remove electronics from your bedroom
- Blue blocking glasses
- Do not eat within 2-3 hours before bedtime
With the implementation of these 4 simple tips, you can improve your sleep quality immensely.
If you’re still struggling to sleep after using these 4 tips then there may be something else that’s going on. There may be a root cause problem for this. It’s something that may need to be looked at on a deeper level.
